About The Position

As an Maintenance Technician I, you will: Complete preventive maintenance, guest service calls, engineering projects, and general repairs (painting, caulking, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and electronic issues, including basic component replacements. Install, program, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and other in-room tech devices. Assist with inventory checks and ensure materials, parts, and tools are available. Use hand/power tools and software systems (e.g., HotSOS) safely and effectively, including working at heights with proper PPE. Identify hazards, follow safety protocols, and comply with all resort policies and procedures. Interact positively with guests and staff, maintain a professional appearance, and support resort leadership with assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in Engineering/Maintenance/Trades operations within a resort or commercial environment.
  • Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership.
  • Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
  • Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
