This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise. The engineering technician I gas provides cost estimating, design, work instructions, and coordination of extensions or modifications of gas delivery facilities. The engineering technician I gas applies established engineering standards and practices for routine projects in the following areas: determining pipe and equipment sizes due to customer and system loads; project design alternatives and their associated costs; project timing and coordination; procurement of materials and field inspection; and all other assigned duties.
