The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Engineering Systems IT Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading the administration of 3M’s Global Project and Portfolio Management system and other systems/tools for 3M Corporate Engineering Supporting 3M’s Engineering Operating Committee by solving complex and diverse problems and implementing improvements and/or solutions to work processes and tools in support of business and strategic plans Investigating and applying new technologies and software to Engineering’s business processes. Managing the relationships, data sharing and integration between applications, and visualization of the data within the applications Participating in development and implementation of system policies and procedures, system security and performance of 3M’s Engineering systems. Interfacing with other 3M functions, including Corporate IT, Finance, Legal, EHS, Business Groups and Manufacturing to ensure 3M Engineering’s software systems and tools provide value within the entire corporate structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Seven (7) years of IT, Engineering, Data Automation or Data Analytics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages and platforms: SQL, Power BI, DAX, Visual Basic, Excel Formulas and Macros
