Working successfully within a team, the Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas: Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on LCS Class ships highly desired.
  • Experience in embarking/debarking LCS Class Mission Packages.
  • Experience working with COMLCSRON or representative commands.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with working within a Navy programmatic and operational management environment.
  • Formally trained, operated, and maintained Navy's Surface Warfare (SUW), Mine Countermeasure (MCM) and systems and inter-workings of the LCS Class MM program.
  • Familiar with U.S. Naval protocol such as WAFs and Tag-Out procedures.
  • Experience supporting logistics operations on Navy ships/systems, including inventory management, handling of classified hardware, and preparation of Form DD-1149 for custody transfer of material.
  • Experience relative to maintenance and logistic support of Navy systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
