About The Position

As an Engineering Support Specialist I, a typical day might include the following: Complete basic testing, services, or troubleshooting of SEL products and processes in accordance with defined procedures under the direction of more experienced staff. Provides status updates to SEL staff and customers. Communicates effectively with team and internal partners and customers. Learn and follow department processes while communicating opportunities for improvement to documentation or work instructions. Represent your team by participating in collaborative improvement efforts. Develop basic proficiency in the activities required to support one of the Operation Team’s disciplines (i.e. Flowline product failures, Product Hospital, test infrastructure support, or Test Lab), or R&D’s disciplines (i.e. Lab Support, Product Test, Infrastructure, or Compliance). This job might be for you if: Two years’ relevant experience Able to efficiently operate Windows and MS Office Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ experience working with SEL products or relevant experience
  • Experience with computer-controlled test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, electronic schematics, and wiring diagrams
