Requirements

  • Detail-oriented
  • Exhibits initiative & persistence to overcome obstacles to meet project goals
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Follows existing processes and identifies and escalates any process deficiencies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while adhering to respective deadlines
  • Capable of learning and retaining technical information (required for part creation and BOM management)
  • Ability to coordinate and work across groups/departments
  • Thorough competence with Microsoft Office suite
  • High School diploma (or GED equivalent)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting engineering groups in a corporate environment
  • Experience using Oracle (including Agile PLM and E-Business)

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Project Manager in achieving project deadlines and milestones
  • Communicates and collaborates with the entire project team to facilitate project goals and initiatives
  • Identifies procurement needs and mitigates risks such as lead times and part availability
  • Creates new part numbers and symbols for use in designs and maintains the Bill of Materials (BOM) for products in NI’s PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Responsible for project logistics and maintaining accuracy and timeliness of manufacturing jobs
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables are completed on time
  • Follows-up and thoroughly tracks results of all assigned tasks
