Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
Proficient in 3D CAD Systems (Inventor, SolidWorks, PTC CREO), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Thorough knowledge of team processes, drafting, and design standards.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to track progress, ensure quality, and close gaps.
Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, and people skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in steel manufacturing, conveyor systems, material handling systems, and packaging systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers in the design and execution of material handling systems.
Contribute directly to project deliverables while validating and coordinating the work of others.
Provide technical oversight to ensure designs align with standards, safety requirements, and project objectives.
Partner with Project Engineers and Project Managers to effectively resource projects and forecast team capacity.
Identify and implement improvements to engineering tools, processes, and workflows.
Collaborate with other engineering leaders to drive continuous improvement in standard practices and automation.
Manage day-to-day team performance, workload distribution, and maintain positive working relationships across engineering, project management, fabrication, and client teams.
