Engineering Supervisor- Protective System Testing
About The Position
The Engineering Supervisor within Protective System Testing, Commissioning group will develop, organize, document, and direct all commissioning activities related to relay protection and control systems for assigned capital projects and maintenance activities. This will involve indirect supervision of Company technicians and mechanics as well as direct supervision of a team of engineering inspectors overseeing contractors. With the guidance of a senior commissioning engineer and/or Section Manager, the Engineering Supervisor will plan, and schedule required testing of relay protection and control systems, while coordinating with other operations, maintenance, and construction departments. Additionally, will develop and maintain all procedures and processes necessary for safe and reliable commissioning activities. Mission Statement: Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
