About The Position

The Opportunity Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Engineering Supervisor (ES) position within the Automation, Integration, and System Protection (AISP) department. This role will focus on leading a subset of the team's engineers and technicians that provide OT Networking solutions. The Engineering Supervisor fosters on-the-job leadership development and allows for additional and efficient team growth while supporting projects.

Requirements

Various education/degrees will be considered
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent field of study
Associate degree, 2 year degree, or equivalent technical degree
6+ years of experience in Network or SCADA design/integration preferred
Knowledge of Networking, SCADA, and system integration, and network is a plus
Must be analytical, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude
Strong analytic and information management skills
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, public and external agencies
High level of initiative and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timeliness
Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills
Displays a high level of initiative and explores new opportunities while understanding the risk to the organization
Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access) and additional software knowledge depending on specialty
Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards
Must be able to travel 25% of the year
Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Networking, SCADA, and system integration, and network is a plus

Responsibilities

Manages and leads engineering activities during the proposal, design and construction stages of projects that are assigned
Provides project oversight, including managing scope according to technical contracts, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules
Directs and coordinates activities of several disciplines and Project Management group on a project of significant scope or a combination of large projects
Maintains high levels of quality and responsiveness to meet internal and external client requirements in alignment with company expectations
Oversees design activities of team members
Responsible for reviewing project drawings, calculations & specifications, assumes responsible charge as needed
Provides strategic direction, leadership and technical services oversight for employees on achieving individual, team, department, and organizational performance goals
Coaches, trains and develops technical staff for growth and development opportunities.
Facilitate weekly team meetings (bi-weekly at a minimum) and actively manage team resource planning
Perform individual performance reviews, training and professional development for team members
Participates and partners with members of the Sales team and engineers throughout the organization to promote revenue growth and expansion of services with existing and prospective clients
Supports proposal efforts by developing, providing resources, and reviewing proposals by working with the Proposal Development Team, Project Management group and other departments
Maintains positive client relationships with existing clients
