Embark on a transformative engineering internship experience at Siemens Healthineers (SHS), starting Summer 2026. We are actively seeking Engineering majors to join our dynamic teams, contribute to impactful projects, and elevate your skills in the field of medical devices and biomedical technology. Position: Engineering Intern Duration: 10-12 weeks Start Dates: June 1st or June 8th, 2026. Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled Bachelor's or Master's degree students, with a preference for rising juniors or seniors. Work Type: Hybrid (in-office & remote). Siemens Healthineers is at the forefront of medical devices and biomedical technology industry. Our internship program offers a distinctive project-based structure, providing interns with opportunities to engage in projects within one of our various business units: Varian, Molecular Imaging, Diagnostics, Point-of-Care, Endovascular Robotics, and Customer Sales & Service.

  • Use your hands-on knowledge and skills to participate in multiple phases of our Engineering/Manufacturing Design & Development process.
  • Support engineering and design activities in your discipline using tools such as Solidworks, 3D Cad Software, AutoCad, Matlab and Siemens NX.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to address project requirements and challenges.
  • Deliver presentations, ensuring effective communication of project findings to peers and leadership.
  • Immerse yourself in the Healthineers culture and intern cohort: join one of our 13 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs); attend all provided learning, development, and community activities.
  • Successfully completed coursework within an engineering major.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant tools and databases.
  • Experience with engineering software tools in your area of expertise.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Solid grasp of general engineering fundamentals, mathematics, physics, material properties.
  • Current enrollment in an accredited degree program with intention to return to school upon completion of the internship.
