  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in any field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think and work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadlines
  • Desire to learn more about our industry
  • Interest in property management
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
  • Permanent US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

  • Smart Building Program Support: Assist in the operationalization of the Smart Building Program by coordinating the development of playbooks and operating procedures, ensuring clear guidelines are in place for the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Help troubleshoot tips and tricks to optimize the performance of building systems. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop protocols for system health checks and work order control, ensuring efficient operations and maintenance of equipment.
  • Budget Planning: Gain exposure to the overview of operational budget plans and contribute to the analysis of budgetary needs in relation to program implementation and equipment maintenance.
  • Dashboard Development: Play a key role in developing dashboards to monitor the performance of building systems. Utilize data analysis and visualization tools to provide insights for decision-making processes and support the improvement of operational efficiency.
  • Use Case Refinement: Work closely with operational teams to develop and refine use cases that align with scheduled and demand-based services, leveraging data from systems, and contribute to the enhancement of occupants' experience within the building.
