About The Position

KPFF San Diego is seeking entry-level structural engineers to support the growth of our office. This role involves working collaboratively with architects, developers, and contractors to contribute to successful engineering projects. The position is designed for recent graduates with a Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, emphasizing structures, and offers a unique work environment that encourages innovation and idea exchange.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structures.
  • EIT Certification is required.
  • Completed graduate coursework in Structural Statics and Dynamics, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Wood Design, and Seismic Analysis and Design.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through difficult projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and analysis of structural engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.

  • Prepare engineering calculations and documentation as required.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and specifications.
