You'll get to lead projects, show off your skills, and shape our Utilities support services within our Transportation group. Responsibilities
- Serve as the utility coordinator for design and construction transportation projects
- Act as the primary technical resource for utility placement on roadway facilities
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations
- Review and analyze engineering plans and specifications related to utility placement
- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding utility coordination issues
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience in design, construction, or maintenance of transportation projects
- Experience with utility coordination in transportation projects
- Knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
- To be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located
- To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
