Requirements

  • Education- High School Diploma / GED
  • Ability to optimize equipment programs and troubleshoot issues to identify root cause
  • Excellent communicator who can train both hourly and salary team members
  • Must be a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and see them through to completion with limited supervision
  • Must be flexible to support production as required
  • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One Ford(leadership) behaviors with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
  • 1 or more years’ experience in Microsoft Office to include, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Equivalent experienced accepted
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing; preferably stamping
  • Stamping / Press Equipment knowledge: Eumuco Forging Presses
  • PLC Competency
  • Lean Implementation
  • ABB Robot Experience

Responsibilities

  • Focus on continuous improvement, standardization and lean concepts to address equipment downtime issues
  • Optimization of current production processes utilizing Maintenance Operating System
  • Utilize MOS process to minimize and eliminate downtime through Preventative Maintenance actions and ensure 100% uptime
  • Train and develop Salary, Skilled Trades and other Plant Personnel to utilize Work Order process to initiate and resolve Maintenance actions
  • Proficient in utilizing Maximo System to coordinate and address equipment repairs
  • Ensure PMs are value add and focused on driving permanent corrective actions.
  • Tailor the PM plans and frequencies to maximize equipment availability and minimize unscheduled downtime and emergency maintenance actions.
  • Lead the maturity of the Maximo based PMs by a) purging out PMs that are non-value add b) modification of PM frequencies for value added PMs to pre-empt unscheduled downtime or c) Adding value added PMs that are not in Maximo based on the equipment performance.
  • Establish PM priorities with a focus on constraint equipment
  • Lead the review of critical spare parts, OOR spare parts and purging of greater than 5 years unused spares that are readily available through suppliers to meet the Industrial Materials target established for the plant.
  • Work with Team to identify and manage Constraint Operations and develop action plans to resolve productivity concerns
  • Utilize Maintenance Operating System and work with Skilled Trades to improve MTBF and MTTR
  • Support the creation of the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) per the latest standards and guidelines established by the Corporate Maintenance Operating System team.
  • Review and maintain critical spare parts to support equipment uptime
  • Support the development of training videos, maintenance tasks, procedures and related documentation for skilled trade personnel to upskill their competency with a focus on new skilled trades to enhance the effectiveness of their workmanship.
  • Support Plant Annual Purchase Agreements for Building and Facility
  • Support New Model launch as required
  • Provide input on new equipment design and Purchase
