Responsible for leading MOS (Maintenance Operating System) initiatives within the production and facilities department. Engineering Specialist Maintenance - Gears Responsible for leading MOS (Maintenance Operating System) initiatives within the production and facilities department. What you'll do... Complete safety reporting (OSHIM investigations, etc), daily safety GRASP checklist & Start Card, safety & compliance training for skill trades. Additionally, complete safety compliance audits for plant. Adhere to Ford's timekeeping policy. Ensure 5S compliance for maintenance cribs. Ensure adherence to QOS process verification checks and complete periodic job observations. Coordinate maintenance activity with skilled trades in support of production and facilities breakdowns. Complete preventative maintenance (M-task & PM), corrective maintenance and predictive maintenance as necessary (Maximo, KCF) to achieve PM completion targets. Procure necessary repair items using purchase order system, including timely reconciling of payments. Support spare part setup and min/max levels adjustments to meet uptime needs Support daily shift to shift communication meeting. Participate in constraint resolution problem solving and 4D input (Maximo). Work to reduce mean time to repair and increase mean time between failure. Achieve EO and throughput targets. Complete Green and Black Belt project teams within the department. Apply innovation, engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products. Able to flex schedule as needed (off shifts, weekend, overtime, etc) What you'll do...
