We are hiring in the Equipment Engineering and Services department within the Recording Heads Operations at Seagate Technology, Inc. in Bloomington, MN. We are looking for skilled Engineering Technician. In this position, you will work on maintenance related activities on equipment in our Wafer Fab Cleanroom and actively interact cross-functionally with Process, RD, and Manufacturing departments. We are a team-oriented organization with a priority to enhance technician skills at all levels in the department. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair of Vacuum equipment in Wafer fabrication Utilize your knowledge of electronic circuits, PLC's, Robotics and read schematics Be able to follow and complete PM instructions Maintain, repair and troubleshoot equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime Work with technicians that repair and maintain production and production test equipment Able to work safely on equipment that requires use of PPE, with chemicals or gases Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures Administer training programs to ensure proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and procedures Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions Determine methods and procedures on new assignments Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel. As a skilled specialist, complete tasks in creative and effective ways Work nights

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair of Vacuum equipment in Wafer fabrication
