This is a highly responsible professional, engineering, and project manager position. The role involves managing all phases of project development, including planning, design, and construction projects within the City, as well as reviewing the right-of-way permits and development plans within the City, along with each City department. The employee will establish, manage, and coordinate the Capital Project List and coordinate with applicable departments. Work is performed independently and requires timely communication with other departments. The employee works under the general supervision of the Assistant Public Works Director, but work is performed with considerable independence in the overall operation. Work is evaluated by observation of results obtained, reports, and conferences with supervisors.
