As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the execution of capital projects within our Jackson, TN, plant. Your role will be crucial in managing day-to-day engineering and construction activities, leveraging your exceptional planning and influencing skills to ensure successful project completion.   • Lead and Plan— You will spearhead the facility's capital and capital expense planning, forecasting, and tracking processes, focusing on cost, schedule, performance, people safety, and food safety targets.
  • Building Teams— Interact with design engineers, construction contractors, and drawing management personnel (typically Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)) to drive alignment with business partners across the North American region.
  • Internal and External Partners— Use your people skills to engage with internal and external customers, including our Supply Chain and Engineering leadership, Process, and Packaging teams. External teams include Engineering and Construction Management Service Providers, Consulting Firms, Equipment Vendors, and Co-manufacturers.
  • Financial Responsibility— Understand and apply Kellanova financial policies related to classification, asset set-up, and automation guidelines, with a focus on project justification and productivity metrics.
  • High school/GED with relevant technical experience.
  • Experience in directly supervising contractors.
  • Proven experience in defining and leading project execution under multiple contracting strategies.
  • Strong technical aptitude in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Capable of reading drawings and working with AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and other project management software.
  • Demonstrated strong project fundamentals and work processes (cost/schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, options analysis, etc.).
