As an Project Manager-New Product Development, you will be responsible for: delivering on-time, in-budget engineering projects by executing within the intended scope, timeframe, and funds; communicating with clients and stakeholders to understand/set expectations, establish timelines, and nurture relationships; managing resources by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate necessary resources; developing project plans, including outlining executing strategy, objectives, schedule, and cost; measure performance for presentation, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners. This role will support our customer onsite in Burnsville, MN, for the project duration, and will transition to the Applied Engineering office in Brooklyn Park, MN, upon completion. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing engineering (mechanical, electrical) projects
- PMP Certification required
- Ability to travel as needed
- Advanced skill set in time management and task prioritization
- Passion for managing teams and driving results
- Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
