About The Position

Pilatus is hiring an Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will act as the responsible project manager on assigned engineering, certification, and modification programs and projects for PC-12 and PC-24 platforms throughout the full program or project life cycle. Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and 2-4 years of related experience in aircraft modification or completions programs
  • Proven versatility combining engineering and project management expertise in relevant field
  • Experience with complex aircraft modification and certification projects
  • Strong familiarity and demonstrated experience with 14 CFR Part 23 compliance requirements
  • Excellent report writing, presentation skills, and multitasking ability
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.62
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Professional software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)

Nice To Haves

  • (Pilatus PC-12/PC-24 or similar aircraft and/or Honeywell APEX/EPIC familiarity strongly desired)
  • PMI PMP certified or willing / able to achieve certification is strongly preferred
  • (TCCA CAR523 and EASA CS 23 experience beneficial)
  • Proven experience in working with the FAA and other CAAs is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, executes, and maintains project management plans, schedules, and resource planning
  • Works closely with Sales and Program Management teams on overall portfolio alignment
  • Defines and maintains priorities and deliverables in coordination with modification center priorities
  • Liaises with customers, other departments, outside vendors, and airworthiness authorities
  • Monitors the status of work in progress, materials, and services and communicates to the appropriate departments
  • Coordinates and chairs internal and external project review meetings
  • Assumes responsibility for project risk management and evaluation of mitigation strategies
  • Coordinates certification projects with FAA, FAA Delegates, and other Civil Aviation Authorities for country specific requirements
  • Supports the engineering department in change management and process related tasks
  • Performs any other general engineering duties as assigned
