About The Position

Hardware Engineering is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee internal software applications development. We’re looking for an individual with a strong foundation in core project management practices and a proven ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments. This role will be critical in driving strategic planning, improving cross-functional alignment, and strengthening senior-level stakeholder communication. The position requires an experienced project manager with strong ownership of end-to-end project delivery—including tracking progress against milestones, managing risks and mitigation plans, and driving structured communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings experience in software development, excels at building and maintaining clear roadmaps, and can break down complex or ambiguous work into actionable plans—ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery. This role bridges business stakeholders and our tools engineering team, acting as the primary liaison between groups while guiding product vision and prioritizing features for development. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and partner teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives while navigating complex stakeholder dynamics. A key part of the role is proactively identifying timeline risks and presenting well-formed mitigation paths. You must be comfortable going deep into project details, aligning diverse perspectives, and confidently communicating status and trade-offs to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Engineering Project Management expertise of customer facing applications and technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage web-based application projects through the full lifecycle.
  • Strong planning capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and process optimization.
  • Tactical experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies across distributed teams.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex ideas and resolve conflicts across cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
  • PMI and/or Agile Project Management certifications.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
  • Focus on software development metrics collection and analysis.
