Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field with related experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams, including both Software and Systems engineering.
  • Experience working directly with customers and internal leadership.
  • Up to 30% travel is required as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering field.
  • Practical experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, including control account management and reporting requirements.
  • Prior Management experience and/or history of leading large teams.
  • Work experience in multiple disciplines (SE, SW, HW, etc).
  • Proposal experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the development, integration, test, and certification of hardware and software baselines.
  • Direct the Lockheed Martin engineering team and multiple subcontractors/partners on all technical aspects of the program.
  • Lead technical communications with the customer.
  • Work with LM Engineering and Technology (E&T) Managers to ensure program needs are being staffed and schedules and budgets are accurately being performed against and managed.
  • Ensure work products adhere to LM & partner standards and are delivered on time.
  • Work closely with program management to identify and address issues, both technical and programmatic.
  • Up to 30% travel is required.
