About The Position

The EPA will be responsible for assisting software and systems engineers with administrative, documentation, process, and general engineering related support activities. Individuals must demonstrate the ability to support several engineers, providing a wide variety of administrative and computer skills to assist engineering projects. This is an onsite role at our Fort Wayne, ID facility. Relocation is not provided.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and O365

Responsibilities

  • Act as a program Data Transfer Agent. Scanning and moving data between secure spaces.
  • Administering program certification / visitation requests to ensure security requirements are followed.
  • Manage access for program repositories and user domains.
  • Administer program issue tracking in Jira to assist in the generation of metrics and reports.
  • Generate reports in Staffing Center to assist program leadership make staffing demand decisions.
  • Working with program and SW documentation to ensure all releases are using the correct template, are properly formatted, have been through the peer review process, then get submitted to our company librarians for release.
  • Engineering meeting facilitation. Ensure all stakeholders are available, book meeting rooms, facilitate meeting presentations, document meeting action items.
  • Work with software engineers to move software and software documentation through the release and data management process.
  • General non-technical engineering support.
  • Edits format of required documentation
  • Prepare presentations
  • Coordinates the interaction of project/program team and support functions to communicate schedule and status
  • Often facilitates internal and/or external meetings
  • Releases software and/or documents
  • Assists with tracking of Change Orders
  • Participates in status meetings
