About The Position

Hardware Engineering is seeking a seasoned Engineering Program Specialist to execute the acquisition of Ru0026D equipment, software, and services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in complex procurement operations while directly supporting the teams creating Apple's innovative products. We're looking for a resourceful individual with a proven ability to operate in a complex, often ambiguous, fast-paced environment. This role will be critical in equipping Ru0026D engineering teams with the tools they need to do their best work. You'll thrive in this position if you're detail-oriented, enjoy process optimization, and want to build strong cross-functional relationships in a dynamic technical environment.As an Engineering Program Specialist on the team, you will be responsible for managing Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) activities from order processing through fulfillment, ensuring a seamless and compliant process that supports Ru0026D operations. You'll partner closely with engineering, procurement, finance, and vendor teams to manage the end-to-end acquisition of critical tools and resources, maintaining transparency and alignment across all stages of the procurement lifecycle. You'll serve as a key liaison between vendors, engineering teams, and finance partners-bridging the gap between policy adherence and the practical needs of product development. This role requires development of a deep understanding of purchasing policies, logistics, and compliance processes to ensure that engineering requirements are met efficiently and responsibly. By combining attention to detail with strong communication and problem-solving skills, you'll help balance operational integrity with the agility required to drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree with 3+ years of professional experience in program coordination, procurement, or related operational roles within engineering or technical environments.
  • Background in project management
  • Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion, and secrecy.
