We’re seeking an Engineering Program Manager to help organize and apply execution discipline to Quartermaster’s engineering efforts. You will set up program schedules/Gantt charts, map dependencies, work with individual engineers to break projects down into tasks, and ensure our eng org progresses toward milestones without surprises. In this role you will have a large impact on the efficacy and efficiency of our engineering operations.

  • Work with engineering leads (electrical, mechanical, RF, networking, AI/ML, software) to define project scopes, milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Build and maintain Gantt charts, engineering roadmaps, and multi-track schedules.
  • Translate product requirements and high-level goals into structured, sequenced task breakdowns with clear owners.
  • Run regular engineering planning, stand-ups, and milestone reviews
  • Maintain a unified program board / task tracker and ensure engineering documentation stays organized and current.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure timelines are realistic .
  • Implement lightweight processes that increase velocity: planning templates, milestone definitions, checklists, review cadences.
  • 8+ years in engineering program management, technical program management, or a similar role coordinating technical execution.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering programs ideally including at least two of the following: hardware, firmware, networking, embedded systems, mechanical design, ML/AI, or field deployments.
  • Ability to create detailed Gantt charts, program schedules, and structured execution plans.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work across technical and non-technical teams and keep information flowing cleanly.
  • Comfort with JIRA /Confluence (or similar tools), Gantt charts, and engineering documentation workflows.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers or field deployment teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering programs.
  • Familiarity with maritime, aerospace, robotics, ruggedized hardware systems, startups or product development work environments.
