The Graphics, Games & Machine learning team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to help shape our next-generation products and SW features. You'll be responsible for leading planning, execution, and communication between several engineering groups at Apple, and helping define/run processes that ensure Display, UI rendering, and compositing technologies deliverables are met. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organization, and technical skills who works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Driving the SW development lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative features.
  • Drive, own, and ship all aspects of large, cross-functional efforts and feature across HW/SW.
  • Partner with engineering & various cross-functional teams to build proven plans to track architecture, design, implementation and validation activities.
  • Maintaining clear communication and documentation on the program's status, including risks, schedules, and resources.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, leading teams to develop cutting-edge technology and setting the strategic direction for projects at Apple.
  • Strive for continuous improvements and increased efficiency across program management processes.
  • At least 5 years of Engineering Management/Project Management experience.
  • BS/MS (EE/CS/CE), or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated leadership on cross-functional projects across HW, SW or Silicon.
  • Understanding or experience of software development and validation of HW or understanding of system level frameworks.
  • Strong technical background, capable of working closely with engineering teams to manage software/hardware integration, performance, and scalability.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing complex cross-team projects and delivering successful results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and evolving requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interest in contributing to Apple's mission to improve the user experience through the power of machine learning.
  • Ability to dive deep on technical topics and abstract the right level of information into an actionable path forward with cross-functional consensus.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand or ramp up on technical concepts in a wide range of fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide succinct and accurate executive summaries of complicated situations.
