Kidde-Fenwal is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead critical programs and drive the successful delivery of new product development initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage program scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating effectively across engineering, product, and operations teams.

  • Program Leadership: Own end-to-end programs through the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Execution & Delivery: Ensure programs meet scope, timeline, and budget objectives. Track progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, quality, and operations to align priorities and drive project execution.
  • Process Improvement: Implement program management best practices and standardized tools to support efficient program execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, concise program updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks and dependencies, recommend mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain program documentation, dashboards, and performance metrics for visibility and decision-making.
  • 2-3 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in new product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical challenges into actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, or related field.
  • Ability to be onsite in the office for a minimum of 4 days a week.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
  • Experience managing both hardware and software development programs.
  • Familiarity with requirement definition, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and testing.
  • Broad technical background across electrical, mechanical, software, or physical sciences.
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while driving results.
  • MBA is a plus but not required.
