The Perception and Mapping organization powers the core technologies that enable safe, intelligent, and intuitive driving experiences. As a Engineering Program Manager (EPM), you will lead complex, cross-functional programs that span multiple engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery of cutting-edge perception and mapping capabilities for next-generation ADAS and autonomous driving systems.

  • Drive end-to-end program execution across Machine Learning Perception, Parking Perception, Sensor Fusion, Environment Modeling, and Mapping & Navigation teams.
  • Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned with product and organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, validation, systems, and product teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve dependencies, and proactively manage issues to keep programs on track.
  • Ensure seamless integration of perception and mapping software into Lucid production programs.
  • Communicate program status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Champion best practices in program management, including agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
  • Support validation and verification activities for perception and mapping systems in prototype and pre-production vehicles.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Proven experience managing complex technical programs in automotive, robotics, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of ADAS, autonomous driving systems, and perception technologies (camera, LiDAR, radar, sensor fusion).
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (Jira, Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering leadership roles.
  • Experience working with machine learning, mapping, and sensor fusion systems.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.
  • Background in system-level integration and validation for automotive or embedded systems.
  • Advanced degree in engineering or management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
