About The Position

Decommissioning Leadership Oversees programs that enable migration from traditional bare-metal services to cloud platforms, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and resources are managed across engineering and product teams. Ensure decommissioning activities align with internal policies, compliance requirements, and security best practices. Drives initiatives with Data Center Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product and SRE teams to deliver automated decommissioning processes, improving operational efficiency and compliance. Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to define roadmaps, project plans, critical paths, and delivery timelines for internally developed systems that enable LOB processes. Infrastructure Risk Management Identify and track assets that pose infrastructure risks (e.g., under any infrastructure risk in the data centers, aging hardware, unsupported systems, inefficient racks, maintenance needs). Applies broad system design knowledge to translate business requirements into technical (Hardware engineering) requirements, ensuring risk mitigation strategies are feasible, scalable, and aligned with engineering constraints. Maintain detailed documentation of risk exposures and remediation plans. Provides program oversight grounded in a strong understanding of engineering and data center fundamentals, including power and cooling capacity, server space utilization, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring program decisions reflect both technical and operational realities. Reporting, Insights & Executive Engagement Build dashboards, reports, and forecasts that track decommission progress, risk remediation, and efficiency metrics. Deliver clear, confident presentations to senior leaders that influence decisions and drive alignment (i.e broad system design knowledge to translate business requests/requirements to technical requirements) (also referred to as engineering requirements), define roadmaps and create project plans Use milestone tracking, forecasts, and program metrics to inform engineering prioritization and drive execution decisions. Support and partner with engineering on internal information system-specific design decisions by identifying and articulating risks and engaging critical parties where necessary
