Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join the camera sensing software technologies and computer vision team. We are looking for an outstanding Engineering Program Manager to deliver next-generation sensing software technologies for imaging and computer vision applications. From camera technologies to machine learning to artificial intelligence, you will be working at the innovative of custom hardware, data, and software capabilities to deliver world-class Apple experiences. You have experience in product development and program / project / product management, proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for shipping new technologies.

  • Drive large, cross-functional efforts to build technologies across Apple.
  • Develop relationships and trust across system and module hardware and software teams.
  • Drive feature definition, implementation and testing while engaging with algorithm, SW engineering, ISP, embedded firmware, hardware, data, and testing teams.
  • Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication.
  • Create development schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain throughout execution.
  • Grasp complex technical topics, identify risks and mitigation paths.
  • Synthesize large amounts of data into concise written and verbal analyses that enable decision making at the executive level.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and have exceptional leadership skills built on a proven foundation of planning and risk management.
  • 2+ years of technical program or product management, or a leadership role in a large technical project.
  • B.S. or equivalent experience or higher degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience in consumer facing product development.
  • M.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or PhD in technical field.
  • Ability to dive into technical details in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Camera Technologies, Image Signal Processors (ISP), and Embedded Firmware/Software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work with teams with varied strengths and interact, influence, collaborate, and negotiate effectively at all levels of management.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Understand and deal well with a fast paced environment, while remaining calm and flexible in the face of uncertainty.
