About The Position

The Engineering Offsite Supervisor supervises the day-to-day maintenance and construction activities of Riverview and contract employees at Offsite Location(s). Able to design and implement an operations and maintenance program for all offsite facilities. Coordinate with the Engineering Director, Manager of Engineering, Maintenance Supervisor and Construction Supervisor to schedule and complete required maintenance projects. Provide routine inspections and generate work orders for managing maintenance at Hospital properties. Schedule and manage Engineering staff to complete maintenance work. Ability to operate a pc with Microsoft, AutoCAD and CMS work order software. Operate Hospital software systems in order to schedule and track costs. Able to prepare cost estimates and ad minister the bidding process with contractors. Purchase materials needed for projects. Schedule and coordinate installation work of contractors. Inspect and provide quality control of contractor and staff installations. Coordinate utility and system shutdowns for installation of new systems. Able to work hands on installing and repairing as needed. Review and assist in coordination of construction projects. Acts as back up to Maintenance Supervisor. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2 Years of Trade, Technical School or Equivilent
  • 4 years Maintenance Experience of Commercial and Institutional Buildings

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years Trade School or Technical School and CFC License
  • 6 years Supervision of Commercial and Institutional Facilities Maintenance
