As an Engineering Manager for Service Reliability at Stanley, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our software development and deployment processes. We are in the early stages of implementing DevOps practices, and you will have the opportunity to build and lead our Service Reliability initiatives from the ground up. This position is pivotal as Stanley is experiencing explosive growth, and your leadership will directly impact our technology and development teams. You will be responsible for developing broad best practices that align with our organizational goals, ensuring that our technology teams operate with consistent security, reporting, and accountability. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance system monitoring, performance tuning, and security best practices. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues across various technology stacks and environments, ensuring that our systems are reliable and efficient. Your expertise will be essential in developing broadly applicable solutions for tech activities, including deployment, release management, and monitoring. You will also own the code repository and CI/CD products used across Stanley's technology teams, providing fast and thoughtful issue resolution by executing quick fixes or proactively identifying and solving problems related to builds in production environments. As a leader, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and outside agencies, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the organization. Your input will be valuable in shaping the roadmaps of teams, representing upstream dependencies to improve the overall program of work.
