About The Position

DoorDash is seeking a platform-oriented Engineering Manager to lead our Session Platform team within the Logistics org. Our goal is to build a scalable, reliable, and extensible global platform that powers the end-to-end lifecycle of the fulfillment and courier operations. This team sits at the heart of DoorDash's fulfillment ecosystem, powering the delivery and courier data that drives our logistics engine. We build the foundational models and workflows that enable our customer teams (Order, Shopping, and beyond) to build extensible solutions on top of the platform. As the manager of the Logistics Platform team, you will lead a team of backend engineers who solve high-visibility technical challenges for both the delivery and session platforms. You will lead the design and development of our next-generation fulfillment platform, a global engine that powers every fulfillment task with precision, scalability, and reliability. You'll drive initiatives that ensure our platform can handle diverse logistics workflows, scale seamlessly with customer demand, and deliver exceptional quality across all operations. You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of the team charter.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of engineering leadership experience as an EM on a full-stack team.
  • You have 7+ years of industry experience.
  • You have experience navigating ambiguous business problems and tackling high-scale technical challenges.
