Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: Crowdstrike is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Falcon Cloud Security (FCS) team. FCS is a key product area for CrowdStrike. We’re extending CrowdStrike’s mission of “stopping breaches” into the public cloud and cloud-native workloads. CrowdStrike’s FCS Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) offering provides visibility into your entire cloud infrastructure, continuous monitoring for misconfigurations, and proactive threat detection — allowing DevSecOps teams to fix issues faster and be more productive. As a member of the Falcon Horizon control plane group, you will be part of a fast-paced team taking on cloud-scale challenges and raising the bar on Cloud Security Posture Management. This role is hybrid, on-site at one of the posted locations. Candidate should be comfortable visiting the office twice a week once the development center is established.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and work solely from U.S. soil
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering roles with at least 3+ years in management positions.
  • Experience working in one or more public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI), Kubernetes.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams with a hands-on management approach
  • Programming skills in Golang, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience with Postgres, Kafka, Cassandra, ElasticSearch technologies
  • Broad grounding in all aspects of distributed systems development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: clear framing of decisions, trade‑offs, and status to varied audiences
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones; flexibility to accommodate meetings with partners across the globe
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Prior industry experience or certification related to CNAPP, CSPM or Cloud Security.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) platforms such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Azure Bicep.

Responsibilities

  • As an Engineering Manager at CrowdStrike, you will lead and grow a talented team of engineers responsible for various Falcon Cloud Security features in commercial and Government clouds.
  • Drive technical excellence by mentoring your team, conducting code and process reviews, and fostering an environment of continuous learning while managing on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, customer support, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features for Falcon Cloud Security.
  • Take end-to-end ownership for the delivery of projects of increasing complexity.
  • Relentlessly pursue quality by following engineering best practices including: appropriate testing paradigms, effective peer code reviews, logging, monitoring, and resilient architecture patterns.
  • Reflect thoughtfully to improve architecture, customer experience, user experience, performance, and stability leading the team to follow rapid prototyping and fast-paced decision making.
  • Must be able to work 3+ days per week on site from our New York office.
