About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking an Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability Manager. This position will be at our Decatur, TX facility. The Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for facility engineering and maintenance activities at the site to ensure safe, efficient and effective facility management. The role is responsible for establishing and upgrading work processes, tracking KPIs and associated improvement plans, and ensuring high service levels to all stakeholders. The role is a key leadership position on the Plant Staff team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in the maintenance or project space in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of Maintenance and Reliability best practices; preferably CMRP certified.
  • Familiarity with project management best-practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; must build relationships and trust with teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the needs of internal stakeholders and set the tone for the engineering and maintenance organization to deliver with zero injuries, on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop a site maintenance and reliability strategy that clearly defines long term objectives and key focus areas, along with a multi-year tactical plan that includes milestones and deliverables.
  • Implement maintenance and reliability best practices to drive improved availability and reduced cost.
  • Raise the bar for the organization by driving LEAN concepts to realize improvements using tools such as 5S, Kaizens, and visual performance management.
  • Engage site resources to build a multi-year capital portfolio that is based on clear, fact-based, project justification and is consistent with business affordability and growth targets.
  • Serve as the champion in the organization to maintain a strong capital project management process, including basic data generation, front end loading, adherence to a project stage gate process, and strong execution.
  • Develop contract maintenance strategy to support day-to-day and long term facility maintenance and capital project needs.
  • Coach, develop and provide performance feedback to team members to build capabilities, align on expectations and improve team effectiveness.
