Requirements

Experience leading applied ML or ML engineering teams for large-scale personalization.
Strong background in applied ML, recommender systems, and optimization strategies.
Proven record of driving horizontal ML projects measured by team adoption.
Ability to design and deliver APIs and reusable components effectively.
Strong communication skills to align with senior partners across various teams.
Experience building diverse and high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead a senior applied science and ML engineering team focused on foundational personalization capabilities.
Set the vision and roadmap for shared reward models and entity/metadata libraries.
Prioritize investments that create leverage across recommendations, search, and messaging.
Design and evolve APIs and integration patterns for shared components.
Extend reward models to new content types and surfaces.
Implement and optimize utility modeling layers for balancing engagement.
Collaborate with product and ML platform teams to ensure alignment and integration.
Build and develop a diverse, high-caliber team of ML engineers.
