Job Description: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a technical team to establish and maintain strategic deployment of goals and objectives Partner with operations leadership, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to lead and manage change Drive continuous improvement, improve customer satisfaction, reduce waste, increase efficiency, and eliminate variation in processes Support delivery of our SQDC metrics and hold team accountable to targets Collaborate with delivery partners to determine the appropriate priority for projects using data-driven decision making and a balance of day-to-day operations support Ensure that our teams and working partners utilize and adhere to our engineering and project management toolkits Work with business partners and leverage data to determine project focus and improvement opportunities Lead resolution efforts for supplier and customer corrective actions Use participative approach in department budgeting process Develop, execute, and manage a capital investment plan for the PSCA Assembly area Identify, recruit, and onboard engineering talent as needed Establish an environment conducive to teamwork, high morale, employee satisfaction, and performance Provide coaching, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to employees to promote growth and development Be highly visible within the value stream to create a safe environment for collaboration and participation Promote a hands-on, high-involvement approach to problem solving Lead, assign work, and review performance of engineers and technicians Develop strong working relationship with research and development, operations management, supply chain, and other business partners to build and deliver strategic goals QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 4-year degree in engineering, technology, or management 5-10 years of experience in quality, engineering leadership, or area of technical support. Background in manufacturing and/or assembly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of quality control systems (SPC, Process Capability) Preferred experience supervising a group of engineers and/or technicians Strong commitment to be a highly collaborative servant leader in all aspects of the role This is a 100% on-site role. Requirements
