Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Test Lab Production Technician 1st Shift. (Monday – Friday). Overtime is available as needed. Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Department Manager and test lab coordinator performs tasks needed to prepare and get parts on test per test plans supplied by engineers submitting test plans to the Engineering Test Lab. This may include mounting, visually inspecting, fixturing, taking electrical readings and finishing of final test reports as needed. Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Practical experience with a two-year technical degree being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up screen printing of solder paste, reflow parts, clean parts, and visually inspect mounted parts per supplied test plans.
• Prepare test cards and materials for test plans.
• Use test equipment to take resistance and other electrical, mechanical, and physical measurements.
• Prepare data for final test reporting.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order
• Assist other Team members as needed to complete assignments needed to support engineering and customer requests.
