Requirements

  • Associate Degree required, Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
  • Able to read and understand lab procedures.
  • Accurate Basic Math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
  • Basic understanding of Algebra preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Geometry preferred.
  • Basic understanding of trigonometry preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Recognizes irregularities and brings to the attention of supervisors.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts cell testing (up to 4-year lifecycle, 10-cycle capacity) for competitive analysis, research, and experimentation; records and interprets data.
  • Performs application testing in various scenarios, including solar energy, depth-of-discharge variations, fast-charging locomotives, and cold storage environments.
  • Participates in cross-functional meetings to support project alignment and collaboration.
  • Maintains accurate records, technical documentation, and project reports.
  • Ensures proper maintenance, calibration, and functionality of laboratory equipment.
  • Performs cell autopsies and collects samples for analytical testing.
  • Assists in determining the disposition of nonconforming products, with authority to initiate production or shipment holds when necessary.
  • Authors, approves, and maintains documentation within the quality management system.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Upholds product quality standards and adheres to hygiene, housekeeping, and safety protocols.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Available to work mandatory overtime as required.
