The Engineering Lab Tech 1 position at Lancer Corporation is an entry-level role focused on supporting the engineering laboratory by assisting in the setup, testing, and teardown of production and prototype parts and dispensers. Acquire units or parts to be tested
Visually inspect dispensing equipment for variances or unsatisfactory workmanship
Set up parts or equipment for testing, including plumbing and electrical connections
Aid technicians or engineers in conducting tests
Remove units from the test area and disposition as needed
Acquire data to be recorded, including test setup, results, and validation results
Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and shipping/receiving functions of the lab
Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read and write in English required for conducting product testing
Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and/or standard electronic testing/programming equipment required
Prior experience assembling and disassembling equipment required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various temperature and humidity conditions
Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability required
Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and test instruments
Good communication, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Forklift experience desirable
Knowledge of fountain beverage dispensing equipment preferred
Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
