StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join one of our Engineering Teams for the 2026 summer term. As an Engineering intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. Over the course of your 10-12 week (or longer) internship, you will have the opportunity to: Partner with existing production engineering teams to support the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in Dallas, TX Students will work with experience engineers on project types that include Repair Industrialization, Tools and Fixture Design and Manufacture, and Process Improvement Join our team today and build an aviation career you’re proud of!

Requirements

  • Completed engineering courses at the Sophomore level.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, to include Excel, Project, and Word.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work full-time during Summer
  • Internship is located in Dallas, TX; students must have own lodging.

Responsibilities

  • Help Service Engineer review customer-specific required technical and contractual data; develop and communicate clear engine repair work scope to the shop technicians/inspectors.
  • Work with inspection to establish a path to ensure correct engine configuration is set, and that required (up-to-date) service bulletins & airworthiness directives are performed.
  • Create new customer-specific Work Instruction template, based on customer supplied Engine Build Specifications / Engine Maintenance Program (agreed upon to w/the OEM).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of technicians, engineers, customer service & quality representatives, and specialists to complete initiatives on-time.
  • Work with configuration control specialists to support creation and modification of StandardAero Technical Supplements.
  • Access & review Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical documents and other engineering data to understand & establish customers engine repair category requirements.
  • Observes all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
  • Carries out special projects as assigned.
