Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization, presentation and customer relationship skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated leadership skills while having the ability to be a team player
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required for all roles
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an ITAR environment
Responsibilities
- As part of the Engineering team, you will provide/learn technical expertise in design and development of hand-held camera systems (thermal, visible, infrared) and laser devices (range finders, aiming lasers, laser illumination).
- Variety of ongoing projects, interns are often able to work with the staff to guide their summer experiences towards areas of specific interest while gaining realistic exposure to a fast-paced engineering environment with ample opportunities to make an impact.
- Conduct hands-on tests and experiments while drawing sound conclusions from properly collected data
- Demonstrate good understanding of required lab equipment, practices, and test methodologies
