This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is a 12 week on-site internship in Lincoln, NE.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years to work in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a 2-4 year university program/degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
- Overall GPA of 2.5 or above
Nice To Haves
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Experience with design documentation
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of work instructions for manufacturing processes
- Utilize 3D modeling and printing techniques to support production activities
- Provide production support and troubleshooting assistance as needed
