(LG&E) Summer Internship Program is designed for innovative, flexible, committed, mobile, ambitious, and determined individuals. This program will show you what it takes to be a successful member of our organization. It is designed to expose you to key areas across our business. You'll work on challenging, high-profile assignments intended to prepare you for a full-time role in our leadership development program after graduation. This is a paid, on-site internship with a Monday - Friday schedule of 40 hours per week. Interns will apply classroom lessons in a real-world setting. Summer interns will learn about our products, processes, and functions. The participants will be given a work assignment in our engineering group as they work under the guidance of a mentor. The scope of the internship program will allow participants to provide value to the organization by completing a well-defined, key project by the end of their internship. The Engineering Intern will be a valued member of our team and will support our sales operations by participating in projects and activities organized by our engineering department that will focus on business needs and objectives.
