As an Engineering Intern, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize our packaging solutions. You will be a key collaborator with engineers, design teams, and business leaders, providing data-driven solutions to complex challenges across the entire packaging lifecycle. Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and innovative Summer Engineering Intern to join our Manufacturing Team. The intern will play a crucial role in designing, prototyping, and testing a tube straightening system that will integrate seamlessly into our high-speed assembly lines.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with CAD software and prototyping tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand current assembly line processes and requirements.
• Design and prototype a tube straightening system.
• Conduct testing and validation of the concept to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• If time permits, design and install the tube straightening system on a piece of equipment.
• Document all stages of the project, including design iterations, testing results, and installation procedures.
• Present findings and progress to the team regularly.
