About The Position

Under the supervision of upper-level staff, the Engineering intern will work within our Engineering department alongside other engineers/mentors to complete actual projects and make valuable contributions to the business.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled in bachelors degree program.
CAD/Design experience is required (preferable solid works)
Strong listening and communication skills; verbal and written skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated self-starter
Ability to work across cultures and departments
Ability to exercise leadership without authority
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Department related Systems/Programs

Responsibilities

Implement material & parts tests with focus on data collection & analysis
Setup, maintain, adjust & repair engineering tests & data collection as needed
Perform some mechanical design & strength analysis of parts & service tools
Shadowing members of their specific department as they perform their duties.
Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording / maintaining accurate and complete records.
Preparing reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and other documents.
Assist with audits as needed.
Working with various software.
Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the field and office operations.
Comply with OSHA, health, safety and environment requirements.
May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals’ skills.
