About The Position

Under the supervision of upper-level staff, the Engineering intern will work within our Engineering department alongside other engineers/mentors to complete actual projects and make valuable contributions to the business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in bachelors degree program.
  • CAD/Design experience is required (preferable solid works)
  • Strong listening and communication skills; verbal and written skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Ability to work across cultures and departments
  • Ability to exercise leadership without authority
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Department related Systems/Programs

Responsibilities

  • Implement material & parts tests with focus on data collection & analysis
  • Setup, maintain, adjust & repair engineering tests & data collection as needed
  • Perform some mechanical design & strength analysis of parts & service tools
  • Shadowing members of their specific department as they perform their duties.
  • Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording / maintaining accurate and complete records.
  • Preparing reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and other documents.
  • Assist with audits as needed.
  • Working with various software.
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the field and office operations.
  • Comply with OSHA, health, safety and environment requirements.
  • May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals’ skills.
