Internships take place at various locations throughout the United States, during an 10-12-week period. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Donaldson Company, you will be a part of a group focused on a particular filtration technology – whether it is air and liquid filtration fundamentals, chemical filtration, materials technology or process technology. You will interact with multiple engineers and scientists, conduct lab testing of filter materials and products, develop new filtration solutions and aid in bringing new technologies to market for our businesses.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate sophomore/2nd year or junior/3rd year in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical or material science engineering, or a related field
  • Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.). Donaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
  • International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute in designing (CAD), testing, and manufacturing of leading-edge filtration technology
  • Assist or lead lab testing to analyze performance for filter elements and assemblies
  • Collaborate with applications engineers to assist with customer-specific project (e.g. test support, FEA, FMEA, stack up tolerance analysis)
