About The Position
As a Engineering Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in civil and environmental engineering within the context of solid waste management. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and operations staff to support landfill design, compliance, and daily operations. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities
- Assist with landfill design, grading plans, and cell development
- Support environmental monitoring (e.g., groundwater, gas collection systems)
- Help prepare engineering reports and regulatory documentation
- Participate in site inspections and construction oversight
- Analyze data related to landfill performance and environmental impact
- Collaborate with operations on daily cover, leachate management, and compaction strategies
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and long-term closure planning
