We focus on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and leveraging data-driven solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Collaboration is central to our work; we partner with multiple teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical, impactful changes. As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to real-world challenges in a fast-paced environment and contribute to projects that enhance productivity and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems/Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, charts, formatting, filtering, sorting).
  • Basic data analysis: Understanding of descriptive statistics and ability to interpret trends.
  • Good communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to work onsite for the full 12-week internship.

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD knowledge (or comparable tool).
  • Time Study and/or Predetermined Motion & Time Study (PMTS) expe rience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, data validation).
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles: Green Belt certification or coursework is a plus.
  • Programming or automation experience: Knowledge of VBA, Python, or SQL for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement: Assist in evaluating workflows and recommending changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Time Studies: Conduct time and motion studies to analyze labor utilization and cycle times.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather production, process, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (production, quality, supply chain) to implement improvements.
  • Capacity Planning: Help analyze resource utilization and support capacity planning for production lines.
  • Documentation: Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and reports for engineering projects.
