About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our dynamic engineering team for the summer (June – August). This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world projects while gaining hands-on experience in their field of study. The intern will work alongside experienced engineering, staff and manufacturing associates and contribute to a variety of tasks, projects, and initiatives across different engineering disciplines. This intern will be expected to complete a project to profile their collaboration and knowledge gained as well as daily tasks and routine.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software, Industrial, etc.).at an accredited institution
  • Strong interest in engineering with a positive attitude & strong aptitude.
  • Good understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Python) is a plus.
  • Previous internship or project experience in engineering is a plus (but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
  • Analyze data and perform calculations to support project development.
  • Conduct research on new technologies, tools, or engineering trends.
  • Assist with creating technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Support the engineering team with quality control and process improvement tasks.
  • Participate in prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Help ensure project deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
